Before our stay, I read the Google reviews and noticed everyone talking about "Matt" and how great he is. Ironically, Matt checks us into the campground and I tease him about the reviews and here I am writing one:) HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Very friendly, diligent and superb hospitality. The campground is beautiful with the trees, Spanish Moss and the dog park is very clean. The pool was one of my favorite pools throughout all my travels. We are truly considering staying longer term at this campground. I learned this is a newer park to Spacious Skies, yet, tied with Bear Den in NC, is my favorite park yet. Thanks Matt for all your help...see you next trip!!!

We stayed here for a week for work. It’s a really nice site and the staff was nice as well. The only thing I feel like could have been better was the security here at the campground. We had a bunch of items stolen out of our truck in the middle of the night. Just LOCK YOUR DOORS!! Other than that it was nice and quiet. The reviews of this place do not do any justice. We had no problems with that staff at all. They were really nice to us!

I loved staying here! To start, Matt and Nicole are great. They were always so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me get the perfect spot on the campground. I was initially supposed to be there for two months and unfortunately had to cut my stay early to only one month because I was needed in another state. I stayed there with my two medium size dogs, who also loved it there. The grounds are spacious and very well kept. There’s tons of walking for your dogs with a great dog park and access to fishing on the river. The laundry building was well kept with plenty of washers and dryers. I didn’t need to use the restroom as my RV has one, but my friends that visited and use them said they were very clean and accessible. I could go in and out of Savannah as frequently as I wanted due to the location. Only a bit up the road was a cafe, great hiking trails, and a town area with plenty of amenities. When I come back to Savannah , I will be staying here again.

Wonderful campground! Lots to do for kids (pool, playground, basketball). Bathrooms were super clean and grounds were well kept. We forgot our water regulator and our camp host Bob was so wonderful and gave us one. All the staff were super kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

Staff was very nice and accommodating. One of the sites we got didn't work for us and they happily let us move. Some of the sites are super cramped (there are some with plenty of room, but a lot that are parking lot close) and there is A LOT of highway noise. We camped here twice during a convention (went to Atlanta during a break in the convention and came back.) Our first site was spacious and shady, but right next to the highway, which was super busy and loud. We were up by 6:30 am every morning due to the noise. The bathrooms and laundry in this area were nice. Our second site was in the back of the camp, so no noise issue, but the sites were super crowded. Like, the next camper was so close, when they clipped their dogs out they could have come into our camper. The bathrooms in this area were clean, but much smaller and super hot, with no ventilation (think sauna.) We ended up driving to the other bathrooms instead of using these. The pool was great and the kids loved using it. They seem to be in a constant state of upgrading, which was really nice to see. They also have a really neat dock that goes out into the river where you could fish or just hang out. We were told there were alligators, but didn't see one during the day, but went out with a flashlight after dark and could see its eyes floating around. It was pretty neat. All in all, if they would space out the sites just a bit more it would be a 5 star campground.
