Spacious Skies Balsam Woods offers flexible RV camping with options for nightly, monthly, or seasonal stays. Whether you're stopping for a night or spending the whole season, you'll enjoy scenic sites with water, electric (30/50 AMP), and sewer hookups. Select from wooded, non-wooded, and pull-thru sites, all featuring fast fiber internet Wi-Fi. Nightly stays provide easy access to the area's beauty, while monthly and seasonal campers can enjoy discounted rates. Group reservations are also available with special discounts. With these options, Balsam Woods is your ideal RV camping destination!

TENT CAMPING

Enjoy a peaceful tent camping experience at Spacious Skies Balsam Woods. Our tent sites are surrounded by nature and designed for campers of all experience levels. With clean bathhouses, stocked camp stores, and proximity to local attractions, you’ll have everything you need for a comfortable stay. The campground provides a balanced setting for outdoor adventure and relaxation, perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature without sacrificing convenience.

At Spacious Skies Balsam Woods, discover comfort amidst Maine’s natural beauty with our diverse lodging options. Choose from deluxe cabins equipped with bathrooms and kitchens for a cozy retreat, or enjoy a rustic experience in our standard cabins. Our RV sites offer full and partial hookups, while tent camping areas provide both basic and rustic options. Settle into serene surroundings near Moosehead Lake, with amenities like a heated pool and direct ATV trail access, making every stay memorable and adventure-filled. Enjoy a relaxing and adventure-filled stay at Balsam Woods with our diverse lodging options.

Long-Term Camping

Settle into the peaceful surroundings of Balsam Woods with our flexible long-term camping options. Whether you choose a month-long or seasonal stay, you’ll benefit from discounted rates and full access to all amenities throughout spring, summer, and fall. Select either a standard site for $1,200 per month or $3,950 for the season or opt for a premium site at $1,400 per month or $4,450 for the season with electricity billed separately. Enjoy a hassle-free camping experience without the frequent need to set up camp!

LONG-TERM CAMPING

EXTENDED STAY

An extended stay refers to a monthly reservation made at one of our campgrounds. You’ll get to settle in to your campsite and enjoy a discounted rate for your longer stay. You can contact our campground office to make your reservation or book online. The discount is automatically applied at checkout – no promo code needed!

If you aren’t ready to move on at the end of your reservation, we’re happy to assist you in making another at the same great rate. (pending availability, electric billed separately.)

SEASON-LONG RESERVATIONS

A limited number of full season reservations are available for those campers who prefer to join us for an entire peak camping season. Some guests choose to stay on the campground the entire time, while others enjoy having their camper set on the same site for that time period, but come and go, using their RV as a frequent vacation spot throughout the spring, summer and fall.

  • Site Consistency – Forget worrying about availability or needing to haul your RV to and from different sites. Instead, enjoy knowing your rig is ready and waiting for your return and your next camping adventure!
