Linville Caverns

Experience the wonders that nature created on the “inside of a mountain”. Linville Caverns provides guided tours into Humpback Mountain, taking visitors along a smooth walkway beside an underground stream. Stalactites, stalagmites, a vast array of mineral colors, the “Bottomless Pool,” and a glimpse of total darkness are all part of this underground trip.

Linville Falls

Less than 20 minutes north of SSBD, (mile marker 316) Linville Falls is the most photographed waterfall in North Carolina.
