It’s been a busy few months at Spacious Skies Woodland Hills as the popular campground continues work on major enhancements to its facilities and campsites, according to a press release.

Projects include a new laundry facility and dog park along with a major bathhouse renovation. The campground also has worked on upgrades to several of its 185 RV sites. The campground’s 80-foot sites — the longest sites available — were converted from back-in 30-amp sites to pull-through 50-amp sites to enhance the experience of RVers with big rigs.

Campground improvements will continue as the summer camping season begins.

“Spacious Skies Woodland Hills campers who return to the campground are going to be pleased to see some of these noticeable improvements this year,” said Amanda Kennedy, director of campground operations for Spacious Skies Campgrounds. “This is an idyllic spot in upstate New York, with abundant natural beauty, charming towns and fun mountain recreation. Whether you are coming to stay put and relax at our campground or use your campsite as a home base as you explore this great area, you are bound to enjoy yourself. We are ready for the summer fun to begin.”

Spacious Skies Woodland Hills features an array of recreational offerings including a private pond with paddleboats, kayaks and fishing; playgrounds; volleyball; a jumping pillow and gem mining station. Themed weekends are planned for each weekend of the camping season for campers of all ages to enjoy. There is also a camp store where guests can purchase camping essentials, snacks and sweets, as well as apparel and souvenirs of their visit to the campground.
