Cape Fear Botanical Garden

536 N. Eastern Blvd.
Fayetteville, NC 28301

Founded in 1989, Cape Fear Botanical Garden is a natural beauty situated on an impressive 80 acres nestled between the Cape Fear River and Cross Creek just two miles from downtown Fayetteville. The Botanical Garden offers engaging cultural events to inspire and excite, educational activities to energize, and peaceful spots to refresh. Visitors of all ages are welcome. Flourishing with beautiful specialty gardens and blooming ornamental plants, Cape Fear Botanical Garden’s highlights include Camellia, Daylilly and Shade Gardens, Butterfly Stroll and Children’s Garden, and the Heritage Garden featuring 1886 agricultural structures and a homestead. Host to any special occasion, our lovely and world class Wyatt Visitors Pavilion Complex is the perfect complement to our Garden and the venue for weddings, business and military functions, workshops and more. Stroll along our scenic river trail with water views, take in a guided tour, relax on our patio overlooking the Cypress Pond, and take home the perfect gift from our destination Gift Shop.

Clark Park & Nature Center

631 Sherman Dr,
Fayetteville, NC 28301

Clark Park and its Nature Center join the Cape Fear River Trail (CFRT) and Moses Mathis “Bicycle Man” playground/trailhead to form a complex suited to hours of enjoyment and education. The city’s second largest regional park remains a natural area dedicated to preserving the environment, educating the public about nature, and providing the only camping in the area. The Nature Center’s museum features exhibits and free viewing of live animals. You can walk an outdoor storybook on the trail near the playground.

Cultural Heritage Trails

With over 750 miles of themed driving trails, it’s safe to say America’s Hometown is steeped in history. Whether exploring the Cape Fear Botanical Gardens on the All-American Adventure trail, taking in a live theatre production at the Cape Fear Regional Theatre on the Patri-Arts & Gardens trail, or visit the sites that our namesake Marquis de Lafayette visited on his grand tour on the Lafayette Trail, Fayetteville/Cumberland County has the perfect route planned for whatever your interest might be.

Zipquest Waterfall & Treetop Adventure

533 Carver Falls Rd.
Fayetteville, NC 28311

Zipquest Waterfall & Treetop Adventure Park is the premier zipline adventure facility in North Carolina, and one of the best zip-line parks in America according to USA Today. On our property is a massive waterfall that allows incredible views from our zip-lines and treetop adventure park. We also have great facilities and play areas, and our facilities are perfect for large groups like church outings and corporate events. Whether you are planning a 150 person corporate retreat or are looking for something fun to do around Fayetteville, NC with your family Zipquest has something for all ages.

Enjoy our swimming pool during the warm summer months or fish in our catch-and-release pond (spot the beaver dam while you’re back there!). Consider our little spot your homebase for necessary matters with the nearby military base.
