Spacious Skies Shenandoah Views is the new name of a 76-site RV and glamping destination in Luray, Va., near Shenandoah National Park, according to a press release.
Formerly called Spacious Skies Shenandoah Valley, the campground was renamed to better highlight its unique personality.
“Situated in the heart of Shenandoah Valley with breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains, the campground is surrounded by farmland and campers are often greeted by friendly cows that gather around the campground fence line,” notes the release. “As a reflection of the campground’s charming ‘welcoming committee,’ a cow was chosen as the campground’s icon.”
The campground features 76 RV sites, four glamping yurts, two deluxe cabins and eight tent sites. Other campground amenities include two swimming pools, a camp store, a playground, a dog park, a jumping pillow, gem mining, a bathhouse, laundry facilities, a group yurt and more.
Open between mid-March and mid-November, the campground is located close to the town of Luray and Shenandoah National Park.
The campground was added to the fast-growing Spacious Skies Campgrounds portfolio in December 2021.
