Before our stay, I read the Google reviews and noticed everyone talking about "Matt" and how great he is. Ironically, Matt checks us into the campground and I tease him about the reviews and here I am writing one:) HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Very friendly, diligent and superb hospitality. The campground is beautiful with the trees, Spanish Moss and the dog park is very clean. The pool was one of my favorite pools throughout all my travels. We are truly considering staying longer term at this campground. I learned this is a newer park to Spacious Skies, yet, tied with Bear Den in NC, is my favorite park yet. Thanks Matt for all your help...see you next trip!!!

We stayed here for a week for work. It’s a really nice site and the staff was nice as well. The only thing I feel like could have been better was the security here at the campground. We had a bunch of items stolen out of our truck in the middle of the night. Just LOCK YOUR DOORS!! Other than that it was nice and quiet. The reviews of this place do not do any justice. We had no problems with that staff at all. They were really nice to us!

I loved staying here! To start, Matt and Nicole are great. They were always so friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me get the perfect spot on the campground. I was initially supposed to be there for two months and unfortunately had to cut my stay early to only one month because I was needed in another state. I stayed there with my two medium size dogs, who also loved it there. The grounds are spacious and very well kept. There’s tons of walking for your dogs with a great dog park and access to fishing on the river. The laundry building was well kept with plenty of washers and dryers. I didn’t need to use the restroom as my RV has one, but my friends that visited and use them said they were very clean and accessible. I could go in and out of Savannah as frequently as I wanted due to the location. Only a bit up the road was a cafe, great hiking trails, and a town area with plenty of amenities. When I come back to Savannah , I will be staying here again. Nearby activities: Depression Wetlands for hiking and downtown Savannah

We had a great time over here, while stopping by on the way up north. We didn’t take advantage of all of the amenities there but we definitely did enjoy some basketball and the playground. I wouldn’t plan a long stay there but for a quick trip, it was fine. The bath house was one of the nicer ones I’ve seen, check in was a breeze, the area was quiet and we would definitely stop by here again. If I had to make a complaint, I’d say the sites need some gravel or something. On a summer day with a little rain you can expect muddy conditions around the site.

Wonderful campground! Lots to do for kids (pool, playground, basketball). Bathrooms were super clean and grounds were well kept. We forgot our water regulator and our camp host Bob was so wonderful and gave us one. All the staff were super kind and helpful. We will definitely be back!

9/4/24- We just got back from a 4 day stay at Savannah Lakes RV Resort and we had a great time. The Lots were spacious, clean and a concrete pad which is always an added bonus. We choose a wooded lot as we have a large dog and wanted the extra space for them. All the facilities were clean and still smelled new. Alot of activities going on for us to participate in. It was close to Tybee and downtown Savannah and we also took a trip over to Hilton Head Island it is centrally located to many places. Its in Hardeeville and there was seveal stores close by. Good pricing and a friendly staff. The pool was not open but they did let us know in advance so good communication.Will definatly book again. Thanks Savannah Lakes!
