Spacious Skies Campgrounds, owner and operator of 13 campgrounds from Maine to South Carolina, has announced its winter-season operations, according to a press release.
The company will keep five of its RV parks open and close eight of its northernmost campgrounds throughout the winter. Some amenities such as swimming pools, beaches and other outdoor activities will be limited.
“With fewer people and activities but just as much natural beauty, winter camping can be an especially relaxing and memorable experience,” said Ali Rasmussen, CEO and creative director. “Our winter-season guests who layer up and ‘camp on’ during the cooler months understand there’s something magical about sitting around a roaring campfire on a clear winter night.”
